UCLU Live Music Society
Welcome to UCL's Live Music Society!
Our society brings together students with a passion for live music,
be it performing, listening or promoting. We are committed to providing
a platform for UCL musicians to jam, form bands and perform at UCL's
live music nights and at venues across London! Every year we host
Battle of the Bands which never fails to bring UCL bands head-to-head
in high-octane, alcohol-fuelled nights!
Living in a city with arguably the most buzzing and progressive
music scene around, we regularly get together to check out
up-and-coming bands in some of London's underground venues! We also put
on monthly Popaganda nights which bring the creme de la creme of the
indie scene to UCL soil. We produce our own magazine called Under City
Lights entirely dedicated to bands, gigs, and simply music to keep you
updated.
This year we will be having fortnightly jam nights and UCLive nights
created by students, for students. For more information check out the

UCL Vs Imperial Varsity Gig - We need YOU to choose which band represents UCL

On the 2nd of March 2010 we will be holding a UCL Vs Imperial Gig. Just like a sports event except with music, UCL and Imperial will compete against each other to see who has the most musical prowess.
Team UCL will consist of three bands, hand picked by you. Check out all the nominated bands and then choose the one band you like the best. The three bands with the most votes will form team UCL.
Voting closes on the 12th of February, so decide soon!

Every two weeks on a Monday night, 7pm till late, Easy J's (2nd floor UCL union).

you want to perform all you need to do is bring along your instrument
and sign up for a 15 minute slot. We will have a drum kit, keyboard and
amps for anyone who wants to do something more band oriented, or feel
